The International Water Management Institute (IWMI)’s Alan Nicol writes article entitled, “The Pandemic is Laying Bare a Global Water Crisis” for Foreign Policy Magazine. This article addresses important issues and gaps apparent in the provision of water security in Ethiopia and Global South as a whole, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Nicol provides insight into the current prediciment and opportunities for a way forward to mitigate what could be increased water scarcity and negative health impacts.
