On January 9th, 2020, faculty and staff at Penn State held a seminar to begin the discussion linking Penn State work in Africa to use of Nexus frameworks and approaches. The seminar was structured around a number of lightning talks about current project activities in Africa, followed by an informal discussion on collaborative opportunities.
Objective: Exploratory seminar to learning about PSU current activities in Africa, how it could link to our water energy food Nexus initiative in Africa (network building), finding conducive project sites, and ultimately building interdisciplinary teams to work on these issues.
