Dr. Samir Yacoubi is an associate professor at INRGREF (National Research Institute for Rural Engineering, Water and Forestry) involved in research-development and teaching activities on irrigation and agricultural water management. As a senior irrigation expert, I have an experience of over 25 years in fields of Irrigation engineering, design, management and evaluation of irrigation systems, soil - water - crop yield modeling, evapotranspiration, sprinkler irrigation modeling, smart irrigation, water-energy nexus. I have experience in managing national and international research and development projects on the design, implementation and evaluation of irrigation systems. As part of these projects, I established scientific links and exchanges with several national and international research and development and technical centers and partners.
