Gbenga Peter SANUSI, (Energy and Developmental Economist) is a Faculty member in the Department of Economics, Anchor University, Lagos, Nigeria. He is the immediate past Coordinating Head of the Department. He was an Academic Advisor at the Distance Learning Centre, University of Ibadan, Nigeria between 2009 and 2018. His research area focuses on Macroeconomics, Energy Economics, and Quantitative analysis with bias in Statistics and Econometrics. He is presently the Co-Chair of the Hub for Economic and Allied Research Group (HEAR) in the Department of Economics, AUL. He has attended and presented papers at both local and international conferences. Gbenga is a member of a number of professional associations which include; International/Nigerian Association of Energy Economics (IAEE/NAEE); Nigerian Economic Society (NES); African Political Economy Association (APEA); African Renewable Energy Alliance (AREA) and World Economic Association (WEA), Bristol, UK. As a renewable energy expert, Gbenga is keen on the water-energy-food nexus for environmental sustainability and zero tolerance for hunger in Africa. He is currently a doctoral candidate (ABT) at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria.
