Mr Hammed Opeyemi Rasaq is a climate change activist who is passionate about climate adaptation, mitigation, and sustainability. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and Climate Science from the Federal University of Technology Akure in Ondo State, Nigeria, and is an alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) RLC West Africa in Accra, Ghana, where he received leadership and public policy management training. Opeyemi is excited about collaborating on climate change research and policy development related to Africa's development goals and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG-13). Opeyemi has experience in data analysis, climate modelling, geographic information systems, and remote sensing. He is a member of the YOUNGO and the Sustainable Green Environment Initiative.
