Femi Oyeniyi is a climate-smart Agriculture enthusiast and advocate with a bent for developing adaptable cum suitable models for specific agro-ecological zones. He trained as an Agriculturist at Olabisi Onabanjo University, specializing in Animal Science for his masters’ degree at University of Ibadan, Nigeria where he is also pursuing a doctoral degree in same discipline. He has 8 years of practical experience in developing sustainable integrated crop-livestock farming initiatives. His work focuses on achieving SDGs 2 and 13, both of which are significant enablers of realizing the remaining 15 SDGs. As an active researcher, he has a good number of publications in peer-reviewed journals in addition to participating in academic and specialized business conferences. He currently serves as the Programme Officer/Network Manager of Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Nigeria. Also, he lectures at Ekiti State College of agriculture and Technology. His research focus is on climate change adaptation and mitigation; he is a recipient of Tony Elumelu Foundation grant sum with which he has designed anaerobic biodigesters. He has also utilized several donor funds to help in contributing to climate change mitigation in Nigeria.
