Dr. Oluseun Olubode is a Lecturer in the Department of Crop Protection and Environmental Biology, and currently, the Sub-Dean for Undergraduate Programmes in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria, prior to which he was a lecturer in the Department of Plant Sciences and Biotechnology at Caleb University, Imota, Lagos, Nigeria. He has over 20 publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals. He is a Watson Scholar of the Environment, USA. He is a member of Society for Conservation Biology, International Association for Ecology (INTECOL), Biopesticides Society of Nigeria and Nigerian Society for Plant Protection. His research presently focuses on mitigating climate impacts on urban agriculture, and indigenous species conservation. Dr, Olubode has actively conducted several environmental impact assessments in relation to flora, fauna and land-use across various vegetation zones in Nigeria. He is involved in multidisciplinary conservation studies.
