Professor Stella O. Odebode is a distinguished Professor of Agricultural Extension & Rural Development in the University of Ibadan. Her areas of research include Gender and Generational issues in Agricultural Extension & Rural Development and issues relating to Water-Energy-Food systems. Her recent work focuses on Gender and Equality and relevance to Water-Energy-Food systems among rural households for sustainable development.She is the current Coordinator of the Gender Mainstreaming Office. She is also a Gender and Rural Development consultant. Her recent research focus includes gender dynamics and entrepreneurial skills in rural areas and issues relating to Water-Energy-Food systems in rural communities for sustainable development. She is active in several professional associations such as Third World Organization of Women in Science (TWOS) e.t.c. She has consulted for the World Bank, United Nations, Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), International Fund for Agricultural Development, and International Food Policy Research Institute, U.S.A on Gender research projects in Nigeria. She has quite a number of publications in reputable local and international journals and books to her credit. Her research has been published in a wide range of journals and edited volumes.
