Julian is a Ph.D. researcher with the Resource Politics and Environmental Change Cluster at the Institute of Development Studies. His current Ph.D. research focuses on nexus management policies across scales and their impact on local institutional arrangements. Julian is especially interested in how global trends and dynamics affect local realities. He had previously worked on land conflicts and forced displacement in the context of infrastructure development.
