Jesse Naab is a Systems Agronomist and Senior Scientist at WASCAL. He leads the WASCAL research program on Agriculture and Climate Change. Dr Naab previously worked as a Senior Research Scientist at the CSIR-Savanna Agricultural Research Institute in Ghana. He has extensive experience spanning over 25 years in agronomy, soil fertility management, natural resource management, participatory technology development approaches and the application of cropping systems models. Dr Naab received his B.Sc. in Agriculture from the University of Ghana in 1986 and Doctorate in Soil Science from the University of Reading, United Kingdom in 1995. His research currently focuses on heat stress in cereals, nutrient cycling in cropping systems and modeling the impacts of climate change on agricultural systems and evaluating adaptations options to minimize impacts.
