Yan Li is an assistant professor of the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests include cyber-physical power energy systems, stability analysis, cybersecurity, formal analysis, active communication network, etc. She has been contributing 40 papers, 2 books, and 4 patents on renewable energy and active distribution systems. Yan won the IEEE-PES Outstanding Engineer Award in 2019, the award of Outstanding Reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Power Systems in 2019, the Connecticut Women of Innovation Award in 2019, and the Connecticut Power and Energy Rising Star Award in 2018 for her contributions to the renewable energy landscape.
