Philimon Kamanga holds a Master of Science in Management Studies focusing in Development administration and a Bachelor of Science in Renewable Energy Technologies. Has over 8 years progressive employment experience in Pico-solar and Off-Grid PV solar systems, improved cookstoves, Productive Use of Renewable Energy (PURE) and Energy Efficiency.
I am currently coordinating a project called the ‘Improvement of Livelihoods in SADC Member States through the Adoption of Distributed Renewable Energy for Productive Use’. The project is being implemented as a pilot for 24 months and it covers Angola, Botswana, Malawi, Namibia and Zambia. It is being implemented under the Intra-African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Global Climate Change Alliance Plus (GCCA+) Programme through the Water-Energy-Food (WEF) nexus.
