Folasade is a lecturer at the Department of Food Technology, University of Ibadan. She is a 2013 fellow of the African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) and has attended the African Nutrition Leadership Program (ANLP). She was at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy where she participated in the course ‘Facilitating the debate on the scientific and technological progress’ (2016).
