Elsa is an Electrical and Renewable Energy Engineer and works as the Assistant Director of the 2IE-Penn State Center for Collaborative Engagement in Ouagadougou - Burkina Faso. She also is the Coordinator of the WEFS Nexus Network. She has a polyvalent work experience which comprises thermal storage for concentrating solar power plants (LESEE Research lab - Burkina Faso), remote control of solar power plants (SIREA - France), procurement and joint ventures (GTAH - Burkina Faso), mobile solar PV systems design (SIREA Afrique - Burkina Faso) and electrical engineering software (ALPI International Software - France).She also worked as the YALI Program Liaison for the US Embassy's Public Affairs Section in Ouagadougou. Elsa holds a Master degree in Electrical engineering and renewable energy, a Bachelor degree in water and environment engineering both from 2iE . She has been trained in Procurement and joint ventures at the Chamber of Trade and Industry of Burkina Faso. She has also been trained in Public Policy Analysis and civic leadership at the Goldman School of Public Policy (UC Berkeley – USA).
