Dr. Arueya has been actively involved in the food industries as a researcher, consultant and as a Senior university lecturer. He was trained in the University of Ibadan and had a robust exposure both in food industries and academics. At various times he was senior Research Officer, Cocoa Research institute of Nigeria (CRIN), Research and development Manager Cocoa industries Ltd (CIL) Ikeja Lagos, consultant to Vitamalt (Nig) Plc. Agbara, Lagos and Directorate of Foods Roads and Rural Infrastructure (DFRRI) now defunct. He had lectured at the Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo Nigeria where he contributed to nurturing that institution. In recognition of his drive for hard work and excellence he has been severally honored. These include (a) Prize for being the best overall in class, 1976 (b) Senior Prefect, 1977 (c) UI Postgraduate Scholarship (2005-2007) (d) Commendation for Hard Work - DFRRI, 1991 (e) Commendation for Excellence – Cocoa industries Ltd (CIL), 1993.(f) awards of excellence in article reviews by several international journals.Dr Arueya has patents, written a number of technical reports, journal articles, conference proceedings etc. His hobbies include jogging and badminton
