Invitation to Americas WEF Nexus Alliance Information Session
March 15, 2022 - March 18, 2022
Please join us for a 45-minute information session that will introduce new opportunities for Penn State faculty and graduate students to participate in high-impact WEF Nexus projects in Colombia and across the Americas. The information session will include information on project development and training workshops in Colombia during the summer of 2022, in addition to opportunities to apply for travel grants and a new joint seed–grant program supported by Penn State and Colombia partners.
The Americas Water-Energy-Food Nexus Alliance builds on the existing partnership between Penn State and Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano (UTADEO) in Colombia and aims to develop research and engagement with new public and private partners across the western hemisphere, with emphasis on advancing applied research and policy projects in Pennsylvania, Colombia, and other countries in the Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) region. The Americas WEF Nexus Alliance is linked to similar Penn State initiatives in Africa.
